Younes Abaaoud is the younger brother of Paris attacks ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud. He was 13 years old when his brother persuaded him into going to Syria to join the radical Islamist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant at the end of January in 2014. It was believed that he became one of the child recruits from Europe to fight in the war zone, but it hasn't been verified if he is participating in the fighting or not.
A month after the November 2015 Paris attacks, a new threat surfaced online as a Belgian Jihadist by the name of ‘Abou Soufiane Belgikimohajir’ posted a message on Facebook, suggesting that Younes might be on his way to Europe for revenge. This has not been confirmed but his threat has been taken seriously as the French police are after him and acknowledge the fact that he has been training under the Islamic State for 2 years and could possibly be classified as dangerous.
