Wish.com is a universal wishlist with benefits that allows consumers to discover, save, and get special offers and promotions on items they and their friends add to their wishlists. As of December 2012 it has over 8 million members and is operated out of San Francisco, CA.

Company History

Wish's parent company ContextLogic Inc. was founded in September 2010 by former Google Inc. employee Peter Szulczewski and Danny Zhang. Wish was launched in December 2011 and it reached 1 million members on May 15 just five and a half months after launch.

Funding

Wish's parent company ContextLogic Inc. has raised funding from Keith Rabois, Formation 8, Youtube co-founder Steve Chen, Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, and others.[1]
