Jason Ryan (filmmaker)

Jason Ryan is a writer, director, actor, multi-media artist and sketch comedian from Seattle, WA.

He was born in Southern California in 1981 and moved to Pacific Northwest in 1988. After dropping out of the NW Film Center in Portland, OR, Ryan moved to Seattle and began working on his own experimental film work.

His most notable works include "The Kodachrome Memoirs" (with Nelson Harst), "There's Going to Be a Beating Tonight" and his first feature film, "Ugly (Is a Movie)". He is also a founding member of the Friends of Julius sketch comedy group.
