Born November 9, 1984, Troy Harley is a seasoned musician in his home country, Russia. In 2006, he was invited to compete in Fabrika Zvezd, a music competition similar to American Idol, where he performed alongside rock legends The Scorpions, Gorky Park, and Gotthard. A handsome, charismatic leading man with an irresistible edge and vocal range some have compared to Stephen Tyler, Harley has just produced three singles with the legendary Randy Jackson -Grammy award winner, sole returning American Idol judge and producer of MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew.
Due out July 1st, “End of Summer” is Harley’s American debut, which comes at just the right time – he’ll be on the Vans Warped Tour, a 100 band, 40 city, 30 state trek across the U.S. and Canada.
Conquering the American music scene has long been a dream of Harley’s. After his stint on Russian television, Harley joined the band "Chelsea," and instantly became one of the most popular musicians in Eastern Europe, helping Chelsea win 3 "Golden Grammphone" awards for "Best Song" (2006,2007,2008) and "Best Band" (2006 & 2007). But even after gaining fame in Israel, Germany, Sweden, Japan & China, still, something was missing…
So Harley struck a deal with JK Music Group and moved to Los Angeles, California, where, supported by an ambitious team of business managers, he has already made appearances with Chris Slade of ACDC, Kerri Kelli of the Alice Cooper band, and Chris Holmes of w.a.s.p. Early success comes no coincidence -- Harley works tirelessly to inject genuineness into his music, to perfect his stage presence and create an emotional bond with his audience.
His favorite bands are Deep Purple, WhiteSnake, Nickelback, ACDC, Nazareth, Bryan Adams, AeroSmith, Gotthard, Skillet. Hobbies SnowBoard, Sport Car, Sky, WakeBoard.
Motto: Rock On.
