TravelFox is a travel metasearch engine used to compare prices from just over 103 different travel websites. [1] such as Expedia and Orbitz. TravelFox amasses the results and sends visitors to the travel website that has the best rates for their search entered. TravelFox earns revenue based on the amount of purchase spent by a user referred to the affiliate travel website.

TravelFox was founded in 2010 by Soliman Mousa after receiving $1M in seed funding. They currently operate is four different languages. [2] [3] Travel Fox is one of the first enterprise success stories to company to come out of Egypt, and survive under the newly elected government.[4]

The concept of TravelFox is to find the current rates on airfare, car rentals, and hotels by offering an all-in-one Web search engine. While generally most Travel websites search all of the different airlines for the best airfare, TravelFox searches all of the travel search sites such as Expedia and Orbitz for their results. As most people visit numerous travel search sites prior to making their purchase, TravelFox brings all of those searches together in one site.[5]. Currently only is the only other site that offers similar services. [6] [7]
