"Throes of Perdition" is the second single from Trivium's fourth studio album, Shogun. This song was released on Roadrunner Records's compilation album, Annual Assault 2009.

Music video

The song's video shows the band playing outdoors. It goes back to a clip of an old man chained up, trying to reach a woman at the top of some stairs. He eventually escapes the chains, whereupon he is turned to stone by the supposed "angel".
