The Improvisation News Team (IN Team) is a long form improvisational comedy and Sketch troupe in founded by Improvisation News in 2012 in New York City. The group specializes in Long Form Improvisation as well as sketch development. They perform weekly in the Underground Improv Mixer sponsored by Improvisation News.[1]

History

After conducting an extensive "Search for the Ultimate Improvisers"[2] wherein over 400 applicants auditioned and submitted writing samples, Improvisation News selected 29 Semi-Finalists [3] and after an online voting process on the Improvisation News website, sixteen finalists were chosen to begin rehearsing and performing with the IN Team[4]. This process was unique in that Improvisation News was seeking tech savvy writers as well as improvisers. After the finalists were announced, rehearsals began, and the group debuted at the Improvisation News' Underground Improv Mixer[1] on June 9, 2012.
