The Green Club is a non-profit Charity Registered Ethiopian Residents Organization seeking an award and cooperation to create a healthy and greener environment for a better leaving of the society.

On its own and in partnership with other organizations and individuals, The Green Club generates and incubates research and project initiatives that are both visionary and practical. Since it came to existence in 2011, the organization has been working in areas like, Greening and Playground Construction, Environmental consultancy, Resource Management, Research, Innovation and Development.

The Green Club is a charity based organization founded by Abraham T. Wate, a young entrepreneur who is also the Managing Director in this social enterprise. He attracts working individuals and skilled young people to put their eyes open in the organization's projects to an economically revitalizing area.

The Green club has recently organized and participated in various national and international events including the 2011 UNEP/TUNZA children and Youth conference on Environment, 2011 Barcamp Ethiopia, Go-Green Exhibition Fair, Green Cause’ Sports Tournament’, The Africa Regional Preparatory Conference for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development and many other major group participating events.
