The Anti-ClueBot NG movement advocates against the practice of unfounded removal of legitimate Wikipedia edits, by the purportedly "overly-strict" Wikiepedia Bot named 'ClueBot NG', both through seeking petition support and other means.

Background

The movement started in December 2012, when Wikipedia user 'Boomage' stated that he was "appalled" by the extreme unwarranted censorship inflicted upon Wikipedia users by ClueBot NG.[1]

Controversy

On the 24th December 2012, Wikipedia user 'Methecooldude' was accused of using "uncivilized" language against user Boomage, who is well known for heading the Anti-ClueBot NG campaign: Template:Well it seems you are unable to sign your own post, want to hide your identity? I would love to see said petitions which you seem to have not linked which makes me think they don't exist... and calling me a git? You are sad...
