Stephen Robert Williams (born 16 March 1994, Liverpool, Merseyside, UK) is a British TV magician, entertainer, and presenter. He is a practitioner of Micromagic, which involves doing magic in intimate settings. At age 13 he won the 2008 World Junior Magic Championships. He has been featured in TV programs including Richard & Judy, variety shows, and television commercials for Sony Japan. Williams was also the presenter for Series 3 of CITV's Tricky TV.
Career and performances
Stephen Williams became interested in magic at a young age, practicing up to two hours a day, and seeking out other more experienced magicians to learn from. He first gained note on the UK magic scene by winning the 2008 World Junior Magic Championships, at the Showzam 2008 festival in Blackpool, UK. attracting the attention of the Richard & Judy show, who brought him on to share his talent.
Tricky TV & Variety Show
In 2010 he was the presenter for 14 episodes in series 3 of CITV's Tricky TV, working with presenter Stephen Mulhern. He also created and presented a charity show called "The Show" with co stars Steve Royle, John Kimmons, Brendan Riley and the Beverley Edmunds Dancers. Magic Week UK, called his performance "highly watchable," and lauded his inclusion of comedy throughout the performance.
