In 2007 The Dulwich Dragons formed a social team and competed in the AFL London competition and in 2008 player there first game. In 2010 The Dulwich Dragons moved to the 2nd division. The club also started gained it's first major sponsor in the Finchley Road Walkabout. The 2012 pre-season brought its challenges. Management were determined to find a new home ground which is now in Dulwich on Peckham Rye Common. In addition to this after extensive conversations with the new AFL team The Greater Western Sydney Giants they became an affiliated club and changed there name to the South East London Giants.
In the future the club hopes to move into the AFL London Premiership and for the Dulwich Dragons to play in the AFL London 2nd Division.
