Users Society of Java Technology (SouJava) - Brazilian Java User Group

SouJava is one of the biggest Java User Groups in the world, with more than 40,000 members. It is based in Sao Paulo/Brazil and it is well known by the engagement of its members.

Thus, when SouJava became a member of the JCP executive committee, its members were very excited. It is sure a lot of work, but SouJava always believed in how important JCP is for the Java ecosystem and be part of JCP is a huge step for a user group.

Recent Highlights: • Java Community Process Award Winner 2012 • JCP Member/Participant of the Year 2012 • London Java Community and SouJava For their historic contribution to the Adopt a JSR program and supporting Java developers through the JCP.
