The Seemant Institute Of Technology (or SIT) is constitute institute of Uttarakhand Technical University established in 2011 located at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India.The college was established by Govt. of Uttarakhand in 2011.The institute is financed by the government of Uttarakhand and managed by Uttarakhand Technical University.Currently institute does not have its own building but it is working on I.T.I Campus , Pithoragarh. It is estimated that more than two years would be needed to completely build the building of institute.

About SIT

SIT is a constitute institute of Uttarakhand Technical University of Uttrakhand. Admission is through AIEEE exam and undergraduates are taken on the basis of their merit on state and national level. It is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Currently there are 311 students studying in the college.The college is non-governmental institute being managed by B.T.K.I.T.,Dwarahat. As the institute does not have proper space and time to organize the semester practicles in Pithoragarh, The students are taken to Dwarhat for practicles.
