The SCIPIO Store Comprehensibly Interesting Pieces of Inputs and Outputs, is a web interface linked to a database to store, analyze and retrieve important pieces of information related to quantum chemical calculations mainly based on Denstiy Functional Theory (DFT).[1] The program is now able to retrieve information from Gaussian_(software), ADF, [2] and Vienna Ab-initio Simulation Package.

VASP is currently used by the groups as ICIQ but can be extended worldwide on the basis of software licence agreements with the ICIQ.

SCIPO was named after Scipio Africanus a general of the Roman Tarraco that defeated Hannibal.
