Sapne Ki Ek Chhal was a Hindi television soap opera and romantic drama. The show started on 29 February 2016 on Life OK every Monday to Friday at 7:30PM. The series was produced by Karan Chaggar of Sahib Chaggar Productions and co-produced by Sunjoy Waddhwa of Sphere Origins. The show stared Chhavi Pandey and Varun Kumar. The show became no 1 of Life OK and in 2016. The show has been one off the higest TRP Ratings in India and UK with 14, 0000 million viewers. The show went off air on 14 August 2017 after many speculations before.[1] The show came back as Season 2 on Star Bharat and started airing from 4 September 2017.

Plot

It revolves around two lovers Purvi and Rajat. Purvi is a singer while Rajat is an model. They meet but have no feelings for each other. After their marriage it is the same. But slowly they both start having feelings for each other. Rashmi hates Purvi and troubles her all the time. With knowing Purvi and Rajat getting all the love, she decides to kidnap Purvi.

After Palavi - Purvi's elder sister gets married to Rajat's elder brother Raj. They both help Purvi with all troubles Rashmi creates for her. After due to a misunderstanding, Purvi leaves the house.

After 2 months, Purvi is seen living with her family. Later after many twists, Purvi and Rajat reunite and brings her back home. Rashmi tries to kill Purvi which gets her exposed. Manav kicks her out of thee house and she swears to get revenge from Purvi and Rajat.

Production

Varun Kumar was finalised to play the main lead as Aarav. Mrunal Thakur who was seen as Bulbul in Kumkum Bhagya was roped in to play the main lead as Purvi. The show is produced by Karan Chaggar and Sujoy Wadhwa. Mrunal left the show and got replaced by Chhavi Pandey.
