Sangram Singh is a World Class Wrestler from India.[citation needed] He got World's Best Professional Wrestler Award in 2012.[citation needed] He has won many Medals for India in Amateur Wrestling also.[citation needed] He Won Gold Medal in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship held in South Africa.[citation needed]

Earlier Life and Career

Wrestler Sangram Singh was born on 21 July at Madina village of district Rohtak in the state of Haryana. Sangram has a normal family background. His father was in Government Job and mother is a house wife. Sangram is youngest in his family having one brother and one sister. Sangram was born as a premature baby and he had a comparatively delicate health. When he was born, his weight was only 210 Gms and later he suffered from arthritis that led to a major health consequence, his hands and legs stopped working and he got paralyzed. After facing all these difficulties in a nascent stage of his life he never gave up and kept persistently toiling to overcome this health hazard. He thought that if God has gifted me with life then definitely I have to do something big in life. Later on with his will power he started standing on his feet and he developed new strength to revivify after he came to know of the similar experiences of Lance Armstrong and Rihanna Botha. Then Sangram went to join akhada. When people saw him in akhada they started laughing on him and told him if you become a wrestler than anyone can be a wrestler, this is not for you but he never looked back and kept struggling. Today Sangram Singh is a famous international wrestler and has represented India many a times.[citation needed] He has won many medals at national and international level.[citation needed] In recent up do's with professional wrestling he can be seen doing many TV shows. He is giving fitness tips to youngsters all around and also coming up with a fitness book and a health portal. His devotion has made him succeed through all this and he has become an idol for Indian youth. He believes "Efforts are never wasted" and "Nothing is impossible".

A Motivational Speaker

Sangram Singh has also been a motivational speaker. Singh says ‘’I have  learnt a lot with my past. Motivation has been a great part of my life. If a person like me could stand on his feet and represent India in different countries so i believe everyone can achieve whatever he has dreamed in his life. He has held several seminars in various schools and colleges all over India.[citation needed]
