Sajid Ali Abbasi (17 July 1951 – 16 December 2008) was the Pakistani politician. He was the governor of Sindh after the resignation of Sajjad Hussain Qureshi in 1988 to 2000. He was assassinated on 16 December 2008.[1]

Early life

Sajid Ali Abbasi was born on 17 July 1951. He became politician in 1979 after the death of Z. Ali Bhutto. He was educated in St.Bonaventure School from Nursery to Matric. He was then gone to Mehran University until his graduation. Because of his favorite subject was S.St he became the Pakistan's prominent politician.[1] He was Governor of Sindh from 1988 to 2000.[2]


Abbasi was assassinated on December 16, 2008 when he was driving car police shot him gun in 9:00 PM. He was travelled in Lahore Hospital where he was died in 10:00 PM. His name will be Memorized in Sindh throughout the life.[1]
