Roksanda Ilincic is a Serbian-born fashion designer whose high-end designs are the recognisable simple yet elegant dresses, usually made from shiny material and strong colours.
Roksanda travelled the world with her parents, where she gained a pronounced taste in fashion. Her mother used to dress her up in pretty clothing made from leftover material that mother's seamstress used to tailor her mother's dresses. This inspired Roksanda to study at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Serbia and eventually at Central Saint Martins in London. She herself practiced modelling for a while, helping her gain an insight on how models worked.
