Rasha al-Akhras (Arabic: رشا الأخرس) is the cousin of wife of syrian president, Asma Assad. She became known to the public when she wrote a scathing letter to her cousin concerning the Syrian civil war and criticizing her attitude towards the Syrian citizens. The letter was widely circulated in Arab news and websites [1] [2] [3]. She later denied having anything to do with the letter [4].
