Pixus Technologies is an electronics packaging company with corporate headquarters in Waterloo, Ontario. The company is comprised of three business units: Backplanes, Enclosure & System Solutions, and Components.

The company was derived from management from Kaparel, one of the initial developers of AdvancedTCA backplanes and shelves. Kaparel was acquired by Rittal in the early 2000's. Pixus obtained the IP rights to the majority of Kaparel products in 2010 and is now the exclusive supplier of Rittal's Vario and Ripac brands for embedded products.

Pixus Technologies' embedded backplanes and systems are focused primarily on ATCA, OpenVPX, cPCI/PCIe, VMEbus/VME64x and custom designs. The USA office is located near Sacramento, CA located to serve the West Coast market and a short distance from Silicon Valley.
