The Pierre Hurel Trio is a Boston based jazz group which performs in many places including around Boston, New York and Hurel's native France.[1]

The group has four CDs released (The Crush, What I'm Thinking About, My Life is Like a French Movie, and The Pierre Hurel Trio Live).

Mr. Hurel's music combines his own takes on familiar standards, newly written compositions for the piano and free improvisations that mix French Impressionist sounds with contemporary classical music and jazz of various periods and genres.
