Peter Stoykewych (Stoy-k-vich) is defensive player for the Colorado College Tigers of the NCAA Division I ice hockey. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2010 NHL entry draft by the Atlanta Thrashers.[1]

Early career

He spent two seasons with the Winnipeg South Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, earning second-team MJHL all-star honors after compiling 32 points (6g,26a) in 2009-10.[2]


Stoykewych was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 7th round.[3] Shortly after being drafted, the Thrashers made an announcement stating they were moving to Winnipeg.[4]

College career

Peter spent the 2011-12 season playing for the Colorado College Tigers where he played 26 games had 3 points and 14 penalty minutes.[2]
