Patricia Barry also starred in GUNSMOKE Episode 139 in 1960 as a traveler on a stage from Dodge to Wichita that was stranded at a stagecoach stop by outlaws trying to get $10,000 in gold that was aboard the stage. She was kind to a 2-time convicted murderor being taken on the stage from Marshal Dillion and Chester Good to Wichita for hanging. When she convinced Matt Dillion to un-cuff the prisoner so he could eat, the prisoner made a mad dash outside to try and get water to save the life of a wounded stage coach driver, who had been shot. During the melee, all 3 of the bad guys were shot and killed, but so was the prisoner by the outlaws. But the stage coach driver was finally able have th water he needed to save his life.

Patricia Barry (b. November 16, 1921) is an American film and television actress.

Born in Davenport, Iowa, Barry was educated at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She began her film career in 1947. On television, she appeared in such nighttime series as Rawhide, Perry Mason, and The Twilight Zone, as well as in daytime dramas such as Days of Our Lives (as Addie Horton Olson Williams), All My Children (as Peg English), and Guiding Light (as Sally Gleason). She appeared on a children's television show, Ghostwriter as Lana Barnes.
