Parvathy Soman (born April 22, 1997) is a Indian singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Malayalam films. She also sings in other Malayalam devotional album songs. Parvathy's career began when she won the Munch Star Singer Junior contest.


Parvathy was born on April 22, 1997 to a Malayali Hindu family in Ernakulam, Kerala. She grew up in Edappally, a town near Ernakulam. Her father, Mr. Somashekharan Nair, works as a Income tax officer and her mother is Anitha Soman, is a house wife. Parvathy got training in classical music in Ernakulam with Chandramana Narayanan Namboothiri. As a child, she won the children's special Reality show of the 'Munch Star Singer Junior' contest on Asianet Television channel. Malayalam Playback singers Sujatha and G. Venugopal, who also judged the competition. She have sang in so many Malayalam films. One is Palunku, then Oruvan, Colours, Kerala Cafe,[1] and finally she sang a song "Swapnam.." in the Malayalam upcoming film 'Track', that is going to release in May 2012.
