Justice for all.

The Oxford Brookes Law Society Crest.

Oxford Brookes Law Society is a student society open to members of Oxford Brookes University which is committed to unlocking the potential of our members, encouraging ambition and excellence.

Our primary source of revenue comes from our annual Membership Fee which will be cut by 20% from £10 to £8 from September 2012 as announced by the Treasurer. This year's committee will be taking the unprecedented step of publishing every single penny the society spends online for greater transparency and accountability.

The society offers a wide variety of social events which start in September with the Freshers' Champagne Reception where the new cohort can meet with the University's lecturers and practicing lawyers to get to know the teaching team and network with members of the profession. Our flagship Law Winter Ball takes place in December at Oxford's luxury five star Macdonald Randolph Hotel with complimentary drinks on arrival, a three-course meal and live music. This May, the society hosted a Summer Boat Party which was a great success.
