According to Mario Luna in his first book Sex Code, In 2001 he moved to Formentera, a small, exotic island where he started to work as a tourist entertainer and shared a house with a group of Italian "casanovas" who taught him to radically change the way he understood attraction and dating.
In April 2007, he published his first seduction manual, Sex Code, with the Spanish publisher Nowtilus. In less than two years, this book sold more than 100,000 copies around the world, was translated into Russian, Chinese and Polish.
In March 2009, he published his second seduction book, Sex Crack, with Espasa Calpe.
In February 2011, he published his third seduction book, Apocalipsex, also with Espasa Calpe.
