This is a list of the fastest-selling product superlatives in different types of media. The definition of "fastest-selling" usually refers to the amount sold in the first week of its release, i.e., which product had the biggest launch. Sometimes, rather than comparing how much sold in a certain amount of time, the target to be reached is fixed (e.g. at 5 million units) and the comparison is in how many weeks it takes to reach it (e.g. 52 weeks vs. 56 weeks).
