The Layanese cat is not a recognised formal breed of pedigree cat with any cat fancier and breeder organisation internationally or even in Australia.

The Layanese cat color ranges from the Siamese pointed to the solid Burmese. The eye color can be the Siamese blue, the Turquoise of the Tonkinese to the Orange/yellow of the Burmese. They can be short haired(standard) or long haired similar to the Himalayan.
