Ken McAllister (born July 1, 1981, in Seattle, Washington) Kenneth Richard McAllister is an American folk singer-songwriter. He has been active as a composer, recording artist and teacher.


McAllister is the son of Greg McAllister and Gywnne Harrison. He started playing guitar at age 12. McAllister attended Edmonds-Woodway High School in Edmonds, Washington. He worked as metal slavage yard laborer as a teen. McAllister attended Shoreline Community College,and graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham Washington in 2007 with a degree in history.

McAllister currently teaches in Kitsap County, Washinton


In 2008 McAllister released his debut album Viceroy The Clearcut. The songs from McAllister's first two albums were recorded in a 19th century victorian home in the Happy Valley neighborhood of Bellingham, Washington.
