Kelly J. Manahan, M.D.

Dr. Kelly J. Manahan is the current Interim Chair and Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Toledo College of Medicine,.[1] The college of medicine and the undergraduate college are located in Toledo, Ohio, USA.


Dr. Manahan is the sixth Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at what was previously the Medical College of Ohio. She is the first female chair of this department which focuses exclusively on women. She is also the residency directory of the four person per year Obsterics and Gynecology residency.

She holds a B.A. from Grace College (Winona Lake, IN), and an M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine (Indianapolis, IN). She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the (former) Medical College of Ohio (Toledo, OH) and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at The University of Michigan(Ann Arbor, MI). She is boarded in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.[2]

She is an accomplished physician, author, lecturer, and educator. She is married to John P Geisler and they have three children.
