Kazakhfilm (Speakerlinki/ˌkɑːzəkˈfilm/; Kazakh: Қазақфильм, Qazaqfilm, pronounced [qɑzɑqfilm]) — is Kazakhstani film studio. Located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.


The Alma-Aty studio of a newsreel was organized in 1934.

In 1938 the first Kazakh movie Amangeldy was created.

The Alma-Aty film studio (feature films) was organized in 1941.

Kazakhfilm Cinema Studio was named after Shaken Aimanov, outstanding national film director, in 1984.
