JOJO B. MAHIPOS (August 23, 1975) is the youngest son of Mr. Pablito G. Mahipos Sr., and Mrs. Julita P. Baconador. He is now presently residing at Brgy. Palale, Sta. Margarita Samar.


He graduated his elementary as Class First Honorable Mention at Palale Elementary School in 1988, and Class Salutatorian at Sta. Margarita National High School (SMNHS), Sta. Margarita, Samar in 1992 respectively. He has been with CKC after graduating from his Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English in 2007 (as working scholar), and now pursuing his Master of Arts major in English in the same school.


He is a regular employee of Christ the King College, Calbayog City, Samar, and now working as Data Encoder and Distribution Manager of the CKC’s school journal, “Prolepsis”. He is also a part-time English Lecturer at Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU), Calbayog City. He was appointed as Brgy. Secretary of Brgy. Palale, Sta., Margarita, Samar, from 1994 to 1997 at the age of 18. He also had working experiences during his long stint in Manila.


One of the trainings he attended in Research was “Seminar Workshop on Journal Publication: Tips and Tricks to be a Successful Writer,” at CHED Zonal Research Center, Visayas State University, (Visca), Baybay City, Leyte in 2010.

He loves volleyball very much. Loves watching reality shows as well. Reading books and chatting in the internet are only some of his leisure time.
