John "$K" McGee[1] (born June 25, 1988) is an American hip-hop/R&B record producer, from Medoc, North Carolina. After relocating from North Carolina, $K has produced hits for several artists including Trey Songz, Ronald Isley, August Alsina, Omarion, Wiz Khalifa, Gucci Mane, Nelly among others. He currently signed to the "Bar Music Group/Universal Music Publishing Group" in 2013 under the guidance of Troy Taylor and Ezekiel Lewis. In 2009 SK was nominated for a Grammy for this hit single "Neighbors Know My Name" By Trey Songz.

Born John McGee, on June 25, 1988 in Medoc, North Carolina, he is the son of Sonya McGee and Luther Tutt.
