Jodi Boam is a Canadian IFBB fitness competitor who won an IFBB card in 2010.
Boam started in fitness at seven years old when she joined competitive gymnastics. She made it to the Canadian National level by age 15. She would train 30 hours a week. Gymnastics helped her learn commitment, dedication, and a great deal of discipline as she strove for success as a top athlete.
Once her gymnastics career ended, she quickly found a new passion: fitness competitions. The same drive for success that served her well for gymnastics stuck with her. She won her division at her very first show when she was 19 years old. The following year, she placed fifth her first time hitting the national stage. During her first few years of competing, she worked with Mindi O’Brien, Canada’s only IFBB fitness champion.
By August 2010, at age 23, she earned her pro card. She is now an IFBB pro fitness athlete.
