Jill Flint (born November 25, 1977) is an American television and film actress, best known for her role of Jill Casey in USA Network's series Royal Pains.[1]

Early Life

Jillian Marie Flint was born in Cherry Valley, New York. Her father was a mechanic who owned his own shop. She has one brother who races cars. There is a long history of race car drivers within her family.

Career

Flint is repped by Innovative and Brookside Artist Management. She has appeared in several feature films, most recently in Cadillac Records with Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright and Beyoncé Knowles, and The Women, alongside stars Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes and Debra Messing. Flint was also recently seen in How I Got Lost with Rosemarie DeWitt. Flint formerly starred in USA Network's hit series Royal Pains. She is frequently seen as Federal Agent Lana Delaney on CBS' hit show The Good Wife. It has been announced that Flint has been cast opposite Eoin Macken in NBC’s hour-long pilot After Hours. The Sony TV project revolves around the graveyard shift in the ER at San Antonio Medical Center. Flint will play Dr. Jordan Santos.

Personal life

Currently, Flint is happily engaged and living in Brooklyn, New York. Her brother is a marine, fire fighter, and in his spare time races cars. In an interview for Royal Pains, Flint explained that she has never gotten her driver's license and is considered the black sheep of her family, since both her father and brother are race car drivers.[2] She states, however, that she can play a mean game of darts. In the Characters Unite Commercial, aired on USA, Jill stated she was a Democrat. She has also demonstrated how much of an activist she is. After hurricane Sandy she got involved in the relief efforts by collecting supplies and housing fellow friends who fell victim to the hurricane. She is a supporter and participant of her friend and fellow costar Reshma Shetty's foundation. Lastly, another example of many, she participated in and signed a petition adovacting for women's rights by joining the Center for Repro Rights. For the past 20 years, the Center for Reproductive Rights has used the law to advance reproductive freedom as a fundamental human right.
