Jawid Sharif (Pashto/Persian: جاويد شريف‎) is a popular Afghan pop singer currently residing in Bonn, Germany. He has released seven albums (as of 2009) that have gained popularity as well as critical acclaim. According to his official website his music has been influenced, by his mentor and uncle, Habib Sharif. Jawid's real last name is Durrani and he took the last name of Sharif from his mentor and uncle Habib Sharif. Jawid Sharif sings in Dari and Pashto, but he is also fluent in German, Russian, and has a sufficient knowledge of English and Urdu as well. He also sings lovely songs and he is talented Afghan star.

In March 2007, Jawid Sharif made a trip to Afghanistan for a series of performances on the occasion of Nowruz. At the end of 2008 he won the ATN Award for Best Male singer of the year. In March 2012, Sharif made a journey to London, United Kingdom for a concert, he had two concerts which took place in London and Birmingham. He also gave a concert in melbourne, Australia.
