Iva Keene (born 17 February 1975) is a doctor of naturopathic medicine, natural fertility specialist, co-founder of the Natural Fertility Prescription website and author of the award winning natural fertility program which has helped many couples overcome infertility naturally.[1]

Early life and family

Iva was born in Zagreb, Croatia where she attended primary school. She moved to Zug, Switzerland at the age of 15 where she completed her schooling and attended university. She is a daughter of a dentist and a radiologist.

Career

Iva went to Institute Montana,[2] a private Swiss international school and later studied business at the European University. After a short period in the corporate world Iva decided to pursue her true passion - natural medicine. Her travels lead her to Australia where she met her husband and completed a four year degree in natural medicine (Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy) at the Australian College of Natural Medicine (now called the Endeavor College of Natural Health)[3] in Melbourne, Australia. After completing her studies Iva worked for several naturopathic clinics in Melbourne, Australia, and then established her first clinic in 2005. During her early days of practice she focused on natural fertility treatments and studied a Masters of Reproductive Medicine at the UNSW in Australia. She moved back to Switzerland in 2007.

Award winning program

Iva co-founded the Natural Fertility Prescription website[1] and wrote the award winning home study program in 2007. In 2011 the Natural Fertility Prescription program won the Gold at Mom's Choice Awards for Excellence in Family-Friendly Media, Products & Services[4] (ISBN: 978-3-033-01818-1).[5] Iva also won the APEX Award of Excellence for Health & Medical Campaigns, Programs & Plans[6][7] the same year. Numerous couples from around the world used the program to get pregnant and gave it praise.[8] The program has been endorsed by medical doctors and fertility specialists.[9]

Personal life

Keene lives in the Swiss alps with her husband and her two Irish Setters.
