Huy Q Lai

Huy Q Lai (Born September 19. 1980) was a a former college baseball player for the University of Southern California.


He attended St. Thomas Aquinas and before his senior year transferred to Blue Valley Northwest in Overland Park, KS. In his senior season, he earned all-state honors with an 10-1 record and 121 strikeouts in 90 innings as a senior.

He was drafted by the Texas Rangers organization in the third round of the 1999 draft. He decided to attend college.

He attended the University of Southern California where he was red-shirted. In his freshman year he was considered a highly touted player and expected to be a blue chip prospect, but his collegiate career ended because of health concerns.
