Gypsi Swing formed in June of 2010, playing a range of music in the style of Gypsy Jazz. Comprising of music students, past and present, from W.I.T, they perform music from a by-gone era with a modern twist.

The group released their debut album 'Debut Swing' on November 10th, 2011, at the Theatre Royal, Waterford. The group has in the past received airplay from radio stations such as WLRfm (Ian Noctor's show) and on Lyric Fm (Gay Byrne's afternoon show), and has also had articles in national and local newspapers.
