PR/Communications Career

During his 20-year career in communications, Go’el has spent significant time on both the agency and corporate sides, working with small start-ups, specialty agencies, publicly held corporations and global communications firms. He has worked on behalf of consumer, telecom, technology, sports, financial and non-profit organizations, including Verizon Wireless (Bell Atlantic Mobile at the time), Ciena Corp., Dunkin’ Donuts, Mazda Motor of America, Frito-Lay, American Express Financial Advisors and The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.[3][4] He also founded and ran Jasper Public Relations prior to his move to Israel at the end of 2004.

From 2001-2003, Jasper was director of communications for Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ: CIEN), a provider of networking solutions which, at the time of his tenure, was in the midst of the most challenging time in its history, having seen its stock go from a high of nearly $300/share to just $4/share. Jasper was responsible for implementing a new communications strategy that would enable the company’s story to move beyond the stock price.[5]

A graduate of American University’s School of Communication in Washington, D.C., Jasper is also a seasoned media trainer, having trained more than 75 executives.

Go’el is also host of the weekly radio show, “The Aliyah Revolution", on Arutz Sheva, a Jewish Internet radio station. On his show, he has interviewed many famous Jewish figures, including Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, Rabbi Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, Rabbi Ken Spiro, Rabbi Lazer Brody, Rabbi Avi Weiss, Rabbi Nachman Kahana and Professor Robert S. Wistrich.
