Gaurav Gera is an Indian actor and comedian. He made his debut as an actor in the Indian television soap Life Nahin hai Laddoo. This was followed by roles in popular shows like Sanskruti, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and The Great Indian Comedy Show. He has also acted in various Bollywood movies like Kyun! Ho Gaya Na, Neal n Nikki and Dasvidaniya.


After earning a diploma in fashion and working for a while with a production house in New Delhi, Gera moved to Mumbai and began his career in acting with the role of Laddoo in Life Nahin hai Laddoo (Star Plus). This was followed by the hit show Sanskruti (Star Plus). In 2003, he signed up for the role of the geeky Nandu aka Nandan Varma in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin.

He has also played cameo/ one off roles in a number of television serials like Hero ( Hangama TV), Boogie Woogie (Sony TV), Lapataganj (Sab TV).

Dekh India Dekh (Sony TV) is a reality show in which Gaurav played a woman - Malti Manohar Mishra. Together with Sunil Grover, he co-hosted the reality show Hans Baliye. He also anchored the reality show Bathroom Singer (Sahara Filmy). Certain award shows like IIFA Awards (2009) (Star Plus) have also been hosted by him.
