The garden football world championship took place originally on the 12th june 2012, the game began over 3 years previous with the Republic of Ireland dominating the game for much of its existence.

it was agreed that a special world championship game would take place, the game began nervously for both sides who missed easy chance to score and catch the opponent however after 5 or 10 minutes of play Republic of Ireland began to dominate proceedings as was expected before the game with the score at 11-3 to Republic of Ireland it seemed victory would be simple from here however a strong fightback which included two sublime volleys brought the scores to 11-10, however a mistake by San Marino and misplaced back heel gave Republic of Ireland the chance which was take with two excellent curled shots sealing a maiden victory for Republic of Ireland.
