Faryl Amadeus (born c. 1981) is an American actress and playwright.
Faryl Amadeus was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Brooklyn, New York by her adopted parents. At age 6 she was scouted in a playground and asked to audition for Fatal Attraction, for which she was chosen to be screen tested. Danced with the Joffrey Ballet and was featured in Dance Magazine in an article about young dancers. Attended LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts as a visual arts major. Received a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the Experimental Theater Wing. Studied at RADA (The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) in London.
Also originated the role of Bill Gates in the Musical NERDS.
In 2005 Fancy Nancy's Funny Hour, a weekly half hour television program written, filmed, edited and starring Faryl as Fancy Nancy, premiered on MNN. A cult hit among New Yorkers F.N. began doing live appearances, including headlining at The Laugh Factory several times.
As a playwright Faryl's work includes: Right By The River, Straight On Til Morning and is currently working on an Untitled Patti Smith Project.
