Fairwater Rugby Football Club are a Welsh rugby union team based in Cardiff, South Wales. They formed in 1966 applied for and became members of the Welsh Rugby Union. Fairwater RFC are a feeder club for the Cardiff Blues.
Fairwater RFC were founded by Dave Minto, Tim Driscoll, Reg Regan (who was the first chairman) and ex-Newtown boy John Morgan, who had captained the St David's side in the past and had moved to Fairwater. They achieved WRU status in 2000.
The headquarters was set up in the Bulldog public house. The team established four senior teams and a youth side.
