Expancel is a unit within AkzoNobel.[1][2][3] Expancel produces expandable microspheres under the tradename Expancel® Microspheres. Expancel has its head office in Sundsvall, Sweden. Production, R&D, sales and marketing is located in Sundsvall. Expancel has sales offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Italy, US, Brazil and China. The number of employees is about 200.
