Dr. Narreddy Tulasi Reddy (born 1 Auguest 1950) is an Indian politician. He is currently Chairman of 20 Point Program committee chairman. He belongs to Indian National Congress.
Tulasi Reddy was Born on August 1st, 1950, in a farmer's family in Gaddam Vari Palle, a remote village in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.
Tulasi Reddy's mother died when he was two years old. He completed her childhood education at local school in a nearby village. He excelled at the school and secured state 4th rank in then S.S.L.C (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) in 1967. He later was admitted to S.V. Medical College, Tirupathi, AP and then completed M.B.B.S in distinction (?) in the year 1972. In Tirupathi, he met Alimelu a Tamil Mudiliar and married her against his parents wish. He then came out of the family and started the practice in Vempally. He was known as "Rs. 2 Doctor" in the village was quite popular at the time when medical services were not available in Vempalli village.
She is married to Dr Killi Ram Mohan Rao . They have two Sons.
