Doug Timm (Composer)

Douglas Vernon Timm (June 14, 1960- July 21, 1989) was a music writer, composer and musician who worked primarily in film music for television series as well as motion picture trailer music.

Despite having limited mainstream exposure in the music industry, Dougs talent and passion was noticed shortly after graduating college. After graduating from Berklee, Doug moved to Houston Texas where he established Sunset Recording Studios Inc and took on projects for local advertising agencies as well as mainstream corporations.

Early Life

Attending St. Johns Lutheran School then Luther North High School in Chicago, Doug developed a passion and love for playing the trumpet as well as writing, arranging and composing music for the school band, school ochestra and jazz band. His dedication and devotion was noticed by all who knew him and consequently after graduating High School, Doug earned a music scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston Mass. where he studied and majored in ef;iubfijgbfuj.
