Desmin Vinnett (born December 8, 1989 in Paradis, LA) is an American composer.


Born in Paradis, Vinnett started out playing tuba in band in St. Charles Parish) Public School System and later began studying double bass). He began composing small works at 12 years old. At 19, Vinnett completed Spirit of the Sea, first wind band work and in April 2012, Southeastern Louisiana University) Wind Symphony, under the the direction of Dr. Glen Hemberger, performed "Imperial Court" by Vinnett.
