Deirdre Hade is a spiritual teacher, master healer, mystic, and visionary leader in the ancient arts of the wisdom traditions. She is based in California.
Background and Work Deirdre’s interest in energy work began at 15-years-old, when her mother was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. Together, the two women began developing a method of energy work to facilitate core harmony and promote internal and external healing. Since then, Deirdre’s work has expanded and she has developed a system of spiritual awakening and healing based on her extensive study of the Tree of Life. This practice, known as Radiance Healing, has been taught by Deirdre at the Chopra Center in La Costa, California, the Urban Zen Center in New York, New York, The ACADEMI of Life in New York, New York, the Evolutionary Healing Institute in Miami, Florida, Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York, and Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Massachusetts.
Deidre's teachings include Daughters of Miriam, the woman's path to enlightenment, and Sons of Aaron, the man's path to divine power. She also partnered with Learning Strategies Corporation to create a comprehensive course called Radiance Pure Energy, which consists of eight five-minute meditations with music by David Young.
Foundation for Radiance is Deirdre’s non-profit center dedicated to healing those who have suffered from trauma, pain, or loss. In recent years, this organization has worked closely with the Women’s Prison Association of New York.
Deirdre has been honored by the Circles of Light for her pioneering energy work.
Teachings and Modalities Deirdre is the founder and developer of Radiance Healing, a form of energy work that is similar to Reiki and based on her theory of “presence”. Radiance Energy is built on the Tree of Life, an interconnected system that is revered in Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism, and is supported by Deirdre’s study of this energy’s science.
Deirdre and other Radiance practitioners use their hands to engage in this energy healing system. A session will see the practitioner with her hands placed roughly ten inches above the client’s body, all of whom are then instructed to follow a gentle breathing pattern. As a deep state of rest falls over the client, the practitioner then begins to align the complete chakra system, or Tree of Life, and its ten emanations of consciousness with the client’s being. In addition to using their hands, practitioners
also utilize tuning forks for this process, each of which has been attuned specifically to one of ten emanations. The practitioner will then ask her client a list of questions designed to release trauma through the unconscious mind. As memories or feelings arise, the practitioner then directs a ray of light into this area of the unconscious mind to facilitate deep healing and transformation.
In conjunction with these teachings, she has developed a practice to expand consciousness and states of “at-one-ment” known as Tree of Life - A Radiance Light Journey, which enables participants to experience deep levels of meditation without prior training or study. An ancient and mystical knowledge of how energy works in the universe, the Tree of Life is an energetic template found in every living substance. With a code similar to the structure of DNA, evidence of the Tree of Life can be found in Egypt, Hindu tradition, secret Mayan teachings, Buddhism of the Far East, as well as in Jewish and Christian Kabbalah.
