David Douglas MacArthur
Much experience working for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. David started his career there as the solid waste supervisor. Within six months he was the public works administrator. His experience in dealing with various vendors and his belief in fair play in treatment of Native Americans soon put him in positions of making decisions that were sometimes not favorable to non-natives.
He is known for his book "The Day the Water Tower Froze."
